NetSetGo Central Coast

Woolworths NetSetGO is an exceptional beginner program for children aged between 5-9 years. It is officially recognized by Netball Australia and designed to provide the best introduction to netball. The program is currently sponsored by Woolworths.

NetSetGO provides children with a chance to learn the basics of netball, and also helps them gain confidence, stay active and make friends. Additionally, children will learn fundamental life skills such as teamwork. The program is divided into three tiers: Net, Set, and GO, tailored to the age and netball experience of the participants.

The placement of children in the program depends on their age and netball experience. However, there is no skill level requirement to participate. Many children participating in the program will be playing netball for the first time, making it a great opportunity for kids to pick up the sport.

How are NetSetGo teams created?

The teams for NetSetGo are formed based on the number of registrations received for the program. After registration closes, we evaluate the numbers of participants in the 8s and 9s age groups to determine the number of teams and players per team.

We may need to adjust the age groups slightly to ensure that each team has enough players.

We also consider information provided during registration about the participant’s school, grade level, and preferred teammates, but we cannot guarantee that friends will be placed on the same team.
